Rosemary’s love for color drew her to start painting in 2003 using the versatile medium of Acrylics. With self-instruction, art classes from various local artists and lots of practice, Rosemary has developed a painting style uniquely hers. Interestingly, Rosemary paints abstracts – oddly to tighten her style. Painting flowers, still life and landscapes are her favorite whether working en plein aire or her studio at home.
Rosemary has some of her originals reproduced into notecards and bookmarks. Below are a sampling of her Art Note Cards. Many can be made into Bookmarks as well. Custom orders are welcome so if you see something that you would like, just let her know.

Note Cards and Bookmarks
RED TULIPS: Inspired by a vase of red tulips, this piece was an exercise in stretching beyond the canvas on purpose, allowing the paint to extend beyond the edge of the canvas, thereby creating an interesting visual effect.
Original is 9″ x 12″ Acrylic on Canvas.
RED GERANIUMS: A favorite subject of the artist, this potted geranium was on her patio and inspired the artist one summer afternoon.

WATER LILIES: Inspired by the lily pond at Chanticleer (A Plealsure Garden) in Wayne PA, the artist sketched this on location with water color pencils and finished it shortly upon returning home. A package of 5 makes a lovely gift for someone who loves sending cards.
